DMX is an American performer, songwriter, and actor who began rapping at the beginning of 1990s. He released his debut album It's Dark and Hell is Hot on 19 May 1998. The other albums he released were... and then There was X, the Great Depression Year of the Dog... again the Redemption of the Beast Gran Champ Flesh of Blood and Flesh. His album... And Then There was X won an Grammy award in 2001, for the category of Best Rap Album. The success of his music was further enhanced by his appearances in such movies as Lords of the Street Belly Top Five - Exit Wounded Never Die Alone - The Bleeding Romeo MUST Die Backstage Beyond the Law Lockjaw - Rise of the Kulev Serpent and Fast and Fierce Death Race.
